General Compression has announced that it has appointed two new executives to its team, senior development officer John (Jack) Joyce, and chief marketing officer Julianne Zimmerman.
Mr. Joyce possesses extensive experience in wind development worldwide, including offshore projects, complex environmental permitting, community agreements, regulatory agency approvals, electrical interconnection, and power purchase agreements (PPAs). He previously served as vice president, east coast operations for Airtricity. Prior to Airtricity, Joyce had a 20-year career at General Electric. Ms. Zimmerman presents a combination of credentials in engineering and communications. She was previously a member of the start-up team and director of business development of GreenFuel Technologies Corporation, where she devised and executed the company's global communications program and led the design and deployment of its first customer field trial. She also previously served as VP of Engineering at Ovation Products. Prior to entering cleantech, she amassed 15 years experience in the manned spaceflight sector.
