The German company Ambau has filed for bankruptcy. The company manufactures wind turbine towers and (offshore) foundations. According to the law firm Goerg, which is appointed as administrator, a search for investors in the company and its assets has already started.
They will initially work to secure the continuation of production in line with the company’s existing order backlog and develop solutions for the future. The company currently employs 350 people at two locations in Germany, Cuxhaven and Grafenhainichen. The wages and salaries of Ambau’s employees are secured by bankruptcy funding for an initial three-month period.
