Deutsche Windtechnik has acquired 100% of the shares in Gesellschaft für Windenergieanlagen (GFW). GFW will retain its name for the time being and will be structurally integrated as a unit under Deutsche Windtechnik X-Service.
Holger Hämel and Severin Mielimonka, the Managing Directors at Deutsche Windtechnik X-Service, will jointly manage the business unit together with GFW Managing Director Jürgen Fuhrländer. GFW's headquarters will remain in Rennerod in Westerwald, Germany. GFW focuses on classic turbine service, repair orders, expert opinions, troubleshooting, spare parts and engineering. The technological focus is on the manufacturers Fuhrländer, Senvion and Nordex.
