OCAS Inc. has announced that Greg Erdmann has been named Sales Director, Wind Turbine Solutions.

The OCAS (Obstacle Collision Avoidance System) solution permits wind farm lighting to remain off at all times, unless its turbine-based radar detects an aircraft within close proximity of the wind farm. When an aircraft is detected, the wind farm lights flash as per FAA guidelines, and a secondary VHF audio warning is broadcast to the pilot. Erdmann held several sales and marketing management positions in start-up, mid-level and mature technology companies. Most recently, he served as Global Sales Manager for NRG Systems. At OCAS, he will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities in the wind energy market in the USA.
