Offshore wind investor and developer Reventus Power has appointed Rasmus Wandrup as Chief Technical Officer. Wandrup brings more than 20 years of experience in marine engineering and construction, having worked in technical roles at Siemens Wind Power, Vattenfall, K2 Management, and Synera Renewable Energy.
His experience includes delivering the 372 MW Formosa 2 offshore wind farm in Taiwan, contributing to Formosa 4 and 6, and supporting operations at Formosa 1. He was also involved in Scotland’s Hywind floating wind project in 2009 and the first subsidy-free offshore wind farm, Hollandse Kust, in the Netherlands. In his role at Reventus Power, he will lead technical due diligence, engineering, construction, project delivery, and asset management for the company’s offshore wind projects.
