Van Ameyde Marine has appointed Ben Sturrock, formerly of Allseas, as Head of Marine Services for its UK operations. Sturrock brings extensive experience in offshore and marine operations, with a track record in delivering complex marine services across the oil and gas, renewables, shipping and loss prevention sectors.
His background includes vessel assurance, marine risk advisory and offshore project support, covering rig moves, pipelay, heavy-lift operations, subsea work and marine system assessments. He is a member of SOMWS and holds a degree in Nautical Science and Maritime Operations. In his new role, Sturrock will lead Van Ameyde Marine’s UK marine services team, overseeing technical delivery, supporting key client engagements and further developing the company’s capabilities in marine assurance, surveying and offshore support services.
