Boralex has acquired Wind2, a UK-based developer with a portfolio of approximately 350 MW of advanced-stage wind projects across Scotland, England and Wales. The transaction also includes the integration of Wind2’s teams at its two UK offices, strengthening Boralex’s presence and development capabilities in the country.
Founded in 2016, Wind2 develops onshore renewable energy projects, primarily onshore wind, as well as solar farms and energy parks. Its teams operate across Scotland, Wales and several regions of England.
