2012 was a challenging year for the wind power industry and for Vestas. Revenue amounted to € 7.2 billion, EBIT before special items was € 4 million and free cash flow amounted to € (359) million.
A total of € 701 million was recognised as special items primarily driven by write-downs. For 2013, Vestas expects shipments of 4-5GW, revenue to amount to at least € 5.5 billion with an EBIT margin before special items of at least 1 per cent and a positive free cash flow.
