Vestas has established BladeRobots as a separate entity. Vestas developed the automated robotic technology solution in-house.
BladeRobots can carry out automated blade leading edge maintenance. The robotic solution makes use of artificial intelligence and can adapt to all blade types used in the industry. Michael Svensson will lead the company. Skagen Blade Technology, which becomes a minority shareholder in BladeRobots, has provided a first round of funding. Vestas Ventures will own a majority stake in the company.
