The German Federal Network Agency has announced a tender for the offshore wind area N-9.4, which has not been centrally pre-examined, in accordance with Section 16 of the Offshore Wind Energy Act (WindSeeG).

The bidding deadline is 1 June 2025, with a total capacity of 1,000 MW available. The offshore grid connection, NOR-9-4, is expected to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2032, while the cable pull-in to the converter or substation is scheduled for the first and second quarters of the same year. The maximum tariff for electricity generated by offshore wind farms under this tender is set at 6.2 cents per kilowatt-hour. Bidders are required to submit a bid form, a guarantee, a power of attorney, and a supply contract, all specific to N-9.4. The tender process will follow the 2025 dynamic bidding regulations.
