International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has appointed Hugo Bouvy, Managing Director of Deme Offshore Energy, as its new President. He succeeds Luca Gentili, Head of Asset, Fabrication and Project Services at Saipem, following the completion of his two-year term.
Bruno Pinho, Senior Vice President for Subsea Operations at TechnipFMC, has been appointed Vice President and is expected to succeed Bouvy in two years. Hugo Bouvy has served as Managing Director of the Offshore Energy segment at Deme since 2019 and is a member of the company’s executive committee. Prior to this, he was Director of Tideway for 12 years and held senior roles at Dredging International. His experience includes offshore construction projects, subsea operations and offshore renewable energy development in Europe.
