MEASNET, the International Network of Wind Energy Measurement Institutes, has published a public report on Power Performance proficiency testing.
This report presents the results of the Proficiency Test conducted in accordance with the rules of the IECRE (IEC System for Certification to Standards Relating to Equipment for Use in Renewable Energy Applications). The document offers a comprehensive overview of the technical laboratories worldwide involved in Power Performance, with high participation from 29 tech labs. It signifies a commitment to transparency within the wind energy industry, as companies have never before disclosed such a substantial amount of relevant data about their activities in this field.
Moreover, the report not only highlights the disparities among laboratories but also illustrates the level of similarity in results and the high quality and competence of the participants, achieving a success rate of over 75 percent. The report on the 20PP01 Power Performance Proficiency Test is now accessible for free download from the MEASNET website. The coordination of the Proficiency Test was overseen by Kostas Papadopoulos.
