Ocean Energy Pathway has launched a Rapid Response Initiative in partnership with the Global Offshore Wind Alliance. Chile is the first country to join the initiative. The framework is intended to support the development of offshore wind in emerging and established markets.
Under the arrangement, the Global Offshore Wind Alliance will work with its members and partners to identify areas where targeted support can help move projects forward. Ocean Energy Pathway will design and fund technical assistance programmes tailored to specific national needs.
The partnership combines policy engagement and international coordination with technical delivery. It is structured to provide support aligned with different stages of offshore wind development and with national priorities.
Ocean Energy Pathway runs programmes focused on offshore wind deployment, the energy transition, marine environments and local participation. The Global Offshore Wind Alliance aims to promote offshore wind uptake through political engagement and international collaboration.
