The German wind energy and hydrogen association WAB has elected a new board during its annual general meeting on 5 May. Following the election, Jens Assheuer was reappointed as Chairman of the Board, while Dr Dennis Kruse was confirmed as Deputy Chairman. The board members will serve a three-year term.
The following members were re-elected to the board:
- Jens Assheuer (Assheuer Entwicklungsgesellschaft)
- Norbert Giese (GefuE Verwaltungs- und Betriebsführungs)
- Dr Johannes Kammer (TenneT)
- Dr Dennis Kruse (Deutsche WindGuard)
- Markus Lesser (Executive Advisory)
- Marcus Rönner (Stahlbau Nord)
- Björn Wittek (Rhenus Offshore Logistics)
Newly elected board members are:
- Linda Neddermann (Deutsche Windtechnik)
- Jennifer Santen (Gesellschaft für maritimes Notfallmanagement)
- Sebastian Schmidt (EMS Maritime Offshore)
Matthias Brandt, Randy Tinkerman and Dr Antje Wagenknecht left the board after deciding not to stand for re-election.
