On behalf of Stadtwerke München (Munich city utilities; SWM), the TDD team of BBB Umweltechnik, MECAL Wind Farm Services and EP4 Offshore have accomplished the technical evaluation of the offshore wind farm „DanTysk“. DanTysk has a planned capacity of up to 288MW.

SmartSignal Corporation has announced that it has been selected by Horizon Wind Energy LLC to install SmartSignal EPI*Center Predictive Analytic software to protect Horizon’s entire North American fleet. The fleet includes more than 20 wind farms across the US, over 1600 turbines responsible for approximately 3400MW of energy.

Woodward Governor Company has announced that the company signed a five-year agreement with Eaton Corporation to supply components and assemblies to be integrated into Woodward's CONCYCLE converters for REpower wind turbines.

REpower Systems AG has signed a contract with the municipal power utility HAMBURG ENERGIE to provide a wind turbine of the type REpower 3.4M104. With a rated power of 3.4MW and a hub height of around 100 meters, the turbine is designed to provide the Hamburg Elbe islands with clean electricity and at the same time form the centerpiece of an information center where interested visitors will be able to find out at first hand about renewable energy.

Wind Prospect CWP (WPCWP) has announced it has received planning permission to build the Boco Rock Wind farm near Nimmitabel, New South Wales, Australia. The Boco Rock Wind Farm will comprise 122 turbines with a maximum capacity of 270MW.

London Array has selected VisSim to provide a Marine Coordination System for the first 630MW phase of London Array. VisSim’s system will enable London Array to manage its offshore maritime activities during construction of the wind farm from its Construction Management Base at the Port of Ramsgate.
