Located in the Baltic Sea, Germany’s first commercial offshore wind farm is now fully operational. EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG commissioned the project, which consists of 21 Siemens wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.3MW and a rotor diameter of 93 meters.

Goldwind has announced the sale of five turbines for projects in Ohio and Rhode Island. With the announcement, the company has now sold over 120MW of its 1.5MW Permanent Magnet Direct Drive (PMDD) turbines since moving to the Americas just over a year ago.

Power Climber Wind, a division of SafeWorks, LLC, has signed a contract with one of the largest WTG OEMs to supply and install the IBEX climb assist systems for its Dashuiboluo windfarm located in Linxi, Inner Mongolia. The IBEX climb assist systems will be installed in 25 of the company’s 2.0MW turbines.
