BaxEnergy, part of Yokogawa, has expanded its Renewable Energy Management Solutions (REMS) offering with new software tools and a growing presence in the USA, now co-located with Yokogawa in Houston, Texas.
The company has launched Farsight, a cloud-native Asset Performance Management (APM) platform for operators of wind, solar, hybrid, and battery storage assets. The platform offers real-time monitoring, dashboard customisation, and system integration. It is available in three tiers:
- Free: For portfolios up to 50 MW, 3 plants and 10 users
- Pro: Paid plan for expanding operators
- Enterprise: Custom services for large utilities
BaxEnergy has also integrated grid management tools from PXiSE, following its acquisition by Yokogawa. A new Power Plant Controller (PPC) helps manage voltage, frequency, and energy flow between renewables and battery storage, supporting grid stability.
