Enerpac has introduced a new Multi-Purpose Lifting Beam (MPLB) for use in onshore wind turbine assembly. The MPLB enables a single crane to lift and precisely position large turbine components, such as nacelles, rotors and blades, improving efficiency and safety compared to traditional two-crane methods.
The beam allows components to be manipulated in three dimensions, supporting a more accurate fit during assembly.
In addition, Enerpac is expanding its range of hydraulic bolt tensioners to include custom-made options. These are tailored to address the space and access challenges often encountered during bolting tasks such as foundation anchoring, gearbox mounting, and nacelle and blade connections.
