Plarad has released its latest battery-powered torque wrench, the DA2control, designed for high-precision bolting tasks in sectors such as wind energy. The tool offers full torque and angle control and integrates a range of digital features intended to improve usability and ensure accurate installation.
The DA2control is available in seven sizes and delivers torque up to 8,000 newton-metres. It is also available in an angle-controlled version and can be upgraded to include Plarad’s documentation and safety functions.
The tool is suited for use in tower flange assembly and rotor or hub connections in wind turbine construction and maintenance. Its digital interface supports consistent bolting processes and traceable results, contributing to safety and reliability in critical joint applications.
