Vergnet S/A has received a Statement of Compliance for the Design Assessment of their wind turbine GEV HP 1MW Class IIIA from GL Renewables Certification (GL).
The Statement of Compliance confirms that the Design Assessment has been carried out according to the “GL Guideline for the Certification of Wind Turbines”, Edition 2003 with Supplement 2004. The Certificate verifies that the wind turbine GEV HP 1MW Class IIIA complies with the requirements of the respective standard regarding Load Assumptions, Strength Verification and Safety Concept. The GEV HP was first brought into service in 2008 and is a two blade wind turbine with a patented lowering system making it possible to lower the upwind part of the nacelle. The GEV HP addresses the specific needs of complex sites, especially for cyclonic areas. Its development was driven by the desire to provide reliable power generation that can be easily installed anywhere.
