3TIER and Global Energy Concepts (GEC) have announced that they have has entered into a one-year cooperation agreement to use Firstlook Wind Assessment.
Terms of the agreement provide GEC a discounted price on an anticipated volume of Firstlook reports. GEC will provide 3TIER with ideas for product enhancements to help with 3TIER's goals of meeting the industry's need for accurate, statistically documented, wind resource information. In June 2007, following a year of technical development, 3TIER launched Firstlook wind assessment, an innovative, web-based tool that provides a fast, cost-effective, thorough wind resource and power assessment. Users now have online access to the first geographically seamless national wind data set that has undergone rigorous validation.
