Acciona Energía has received a twenty-year power supply award through Round 4 of the Department of Energy’s Green Energy Auction Programme. The contract covers the full output of two projects with a combined capacity of 281 MW.
The award relates to the Kalayaan 2 wind farm in Laguna, rated at 101 MW and currently under construction, and the Daanbantayan solar plant in Cebu, rated at 180 MWp where construction is due to start before the end of 2025. Acciona Energía also continues to develop a wider pipeline of more than 2 GW in the Philippines.
