Atlas Professionals has renewed its contract with Ørsted to provide personnel for technical, specialised, and uptower repair wind turbine generator (WTG) support services across the UK, Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Atlas will supply Ørsted with fully authorised technicians, service technicians, and heavy lift specialists for component exchanges, retrofit operations, annual service, and technical inspections, covering the UK and European locations.
In conjunction with its partner, Atlas will also perform endoscopic inspections on turbine components, ensuring the early detection of potential issues and maintaining the optimal performance of Ørsted’s assets.
Additionally, Atlas will provide teams for uptower component exchanges, focusing on systems like high-speed bearings on gearboxes and generators, across the UK and European locations.
