Seaway Heavy Lifting have asked BASF, as part of the grouting subcontract with FoundOcean, for the supply of MasterFlow 9800 to the Beatrice Offshore Windfarm project. The grout will be installed by BASF’s licensed contractor FoundOcean using their specialised grouting equipment.
The grout is chosen for the grouting of the 84 jacket foundations for wind turbines and two jackets for the offshore transmission modules The material is the only bulk supplied grout to have achieved Type Approval Certification (TAC) from DNV GL.
