Blue Power Partners is supporting the development of the 532 MW Haewoori 2 floating offshore wind project off the coast of Ulsan, South Korea. The company is working with Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP) on the project, which forms part of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners’ renewable energy portfolio.
The project will use floating foundations, which will be assembled and integrated with wind turbines at the quayside before being towed to the offshore site. Blue Power Partners is providing support in areas including transport and installation, transmission and electrical systems, offshore cable systems and floating wind engineering. Its involvement covers project development and execution, including engineering, logistics and transmission solutions.
