Phase 1 of the Vifor wind farm in Buzău County, Romania, has entered its trial operation phase, adding 192 MW of generation capacity. Phase 1 comprises 30 Vestas V162-6.4 MW turbines.
Construction of Phase 2 is already under way and will increase the project’s total capacity to 461 MW. Commissioning of the full project is scheduled for summer 2027.
