Broadwind Energy, Inc. has announced strong fourth-quarter orders, including a US$ 23 million order for wind turbine towers.
The tower order was Broadwind's first order from a US wind turbine manufacturer and will encompass towers for various domestic wind projects. The towers will be produced in Broadwind's Manitowoc, Wisconsin facility for delivery during the second half of 2012.
