Gode Wind 3 OSS Topside and Modular Support Frame recently sailed away from Chantiers de l’Atlantique’s yard to reach its installation site in the German North Sea, where Ørsted installed it late August.The 1,900 mt topside has a 242 MW power output capacity and has been completely designed by our teams and fabricated in Saint-Nazaire. It will collect and export the power generated by the offshore wind turbines through dedicated submarine cables while remotely controlling and monitoring the operation of the offshore windfarm.
