EnBW enters the next round of the tender procedure for the Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm with two new partners. DEME Concessions Wind and Siemens Financial Services join the project company Kriegers Flak ApS that has been founded by EnBW for participating in the tender procedure. Siemens Financial Services acquires 32.5% and DEME Concessions Wind 17.5% of the shares, the shareholding held by EnBW in the project company will thus be reduced to 50%.
The Kriegers Flak offshore wind project has a capacity of between 590 and 610MW. The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) prequalified the Kriegers Flag ApS project company on October 28th 2015. The project company submitted an indicative offer on 5 April. This represents a non-binding first offer submitted by tenderers during the dialogue phase of the tender procedure. On the basis of these offers and the requirements of the Danish Energy Agency, the contractual conditions for the submission of a binding offer will then be defined by the Danish Energy Agency in collaboration with the tenderers. The final binding offer must be submitted by 8 November 2016. The successful tenderer should be awarded the concession by the end of the year. Subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities, the construction and commissioning of the wind farm will follow in the period up to 2021.
