Following the “Leilão de Reserva” public tender in Brazil, Enel Green Power has been awarded the right to sign 20-year energy supply contracts in that country for a total of 344 MW of wind and photovoltaic capacity.
Enel Green Power was awarded a 90 MW in wind capacity with the “Delfina” project. The plant will be built in the state of Bahia. With the “Ituverava” project, the company was awarded 254MW of photovoltaic capacity. The two plants will require a total investment of approximately US$ 600 million to build, of which around US$ 400 million for the photovoltaic project and around US$ 200 million for the wind project.
