Energy Absolute plans to invest Bt25 billion (approximately € 570 million) over the next two years to build two solar-power plants producing 90MW each and three wind-power plants generating a total of 126MW.
The company is negotiating with Chinese and European firms on setting up joint ventures to develop alternative-energy programmes. There will be two wind-power plants built in Nakhon Si Thammarat and one in Songkhla. The total investment for these wind farms is Bt9 billion (approximately € 204 million). The investments will be made from the company's cash flow. However, Energy Absolute is looking into ways to raise funds that will not affect its shareholders, including a possible infrastructure fund.
