Enlight Renewable Energy reported Spain's energy authorities awarded it a permit to energise the project and start a gradual process of commercial operation of the Gecama wind farm.
At this phase, the project company received the Spanish authorities' clearance to start operating with an initial output of 182MW. Enlight expects to fully commercialise the entire 329MW capacity within several weeks. The 329MW project is expected to provide clean energy equivalent to the total consumption of approximately 260 thousand Spanish households.
