Envision Energy has announced the order of 198MW wind turbines from CleanMax for a wind-solar hybrid project in India. This hybrid project is developed under the Commercial and Industrial power offtake segment and consists of 198 MW of wind and 158 MW of solar capacity.
For the wind farm in Amreli, Gujarat, 60 units of Envision's EN156-3.3 MW onshore turbines will be supplied. The nacelles and hubs for the turbines will be manufactured in Envision's India factory in Pune. Envision will carry out operations and maintenance for the wind turbines for the life of the project. They are expected to be commissioned in a phased manner by March 31st, 2023.
