European Energy has connected the wind farm Ouro Branco I to the grid in the state of Pernambuco in the northeastern region of Brazil.
The wind farm consists of 8 wind turbines with a capacity of 36 MW and has been under construction since 2021. The project has been partly financed with the help of IFU, the Danish Investment Fund for Developing Countries, as well as BNB, the development bank of Brazil’s the northeast region.
