European Energy has signed a long-term power purchase agreement with Mars covering most of the annual output from the Skuodas wind project in Lithuania. The wind farm is expected to generate around 490 GWh per year, with the agreement including bundled guarantees of origin.
The Skuodas Wind Farm will have an installed capacity of 158.4 MW. The project has not yet reached financial close, with the PPA intended to support its commercial structure and financing. Commercial operation is planned for 2028. The project will also supply renewable electricity to Mars’ pet food manufacturing facility in Lithuania.
