European Energy has secured a government Contract for Difference (CfD) auction in Romania for a wind project near the town of Berești.
The wind farm is projected to have a capacity of 126 MW, with the CfD contract priced at EUR 65.7 per MWh and lasting 15 years. Construction is expected to begin in Q3 2025, with grid connection anticipated by the end of 2027.
