Freja Offshore, a joint venture between Hexicon and Mainstream Renewable Power, has submitted an application for the Dyning offshore wind farm in Sweden.
The wind farm Dyning has a capacity of 2.5 GW and will be able to deliver 10 TWh annually. The floating wind farm will be located 45 kilometres offshore, between the mainland of Sweden and Gotland. The application to build and operate the Dyning wind farm has been submitted to the Ministry of Climate and Enterprise according to the law on Sweden's economic zone and the establishment of the internal cable network according to the Continental Shelf Act. The next step is for the government to begin processing the application.
