Gamesa has reached an agreement with Gas Natural to sell two wind farms in Lugo and Tarragona, with combined capacity totalling 42MW.
The Alto do Seixal (30MW) wind farm near Lugo consists of six Gamesa G80-2.0MW turbines and nine G87-2.0MW turbines. The wind farm is in operation. The Les Forques II (12MW) wind farm outside Tarragona will be equipped with six G90-2.0MW turbines and is scheduled to begin commercial operations in the second quarter of 2012. The sale of this asset is subject to approval by regulators.
