Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica has entered into an agreement with the Italian company Alerion Parco Eolico Licodia Eubea S.R.L. for the supply of 26 Gamesa G5X-850 kW wind turbines amounting to a total installed power of 22MW.
The wind turbine generators will be destined to the Licodia Eubea Wind
Farm located in the Sicilian region of Catania. The above-mentioned
agreement includes the supply of the wind turbines, their installation
and start-up, as well as their operation and maintenance. The start of
assembly work is foreseen for the first quarter of 2009.
