Gamesa has signed an agreement with the German real capital asset manager KGAL GmbH & Co. KG for the sale of three wind farms in France and one in Germany, with a total installed capacity of 56MW, to KGAL’s renewable energy fund for institutional investors; European Sustainable Power Fund 2.
The farms Quatre Vallées I and Quatre Vallées II, with a capacity of 12MW and 20MW respectively, are both situated in the region Champagne-Ardennes, in Northeastern France, while the Souvigné farm, of 8MW, is located in the region Poitou-Charentes, in the West of France. They are all equipped with the G90X-2.0MW wind turbine. Souvigné and Quatre Vallées I are already active and the construction of Quatre Vallées II will start soon. Meanwhile, the German Sarow farm of 16MW, in the Northeast of the country, in the Mecklenburg-West Pomerania State, is under construction, and will also be equipped with the G90X-2.0 MW turbine.
