Global Blade Technology (GBT) received an order for the design of a 3.0MW rotor blade for Sinomatech Wind Power Blade Co (Sinoma) based in China.
GBT is a rotor blade technology supplier to the wind energy industry,
delivering services to include rotor blade design and certification,
material selection and qualification, manufacturing process design and
consultancy. From their factory in Wieringerwerf, Netherlands, they
deliver mold and tooling design as well as mold manufacturing and rotor
blade proto typing. The company plans for a full scale rotor blade
production facility in the near future. With offices in Holland, the US
and India, customers are served globally.
