The Aabyhoej-based company International Wind Energy A/S (IWE) offers Danish investors the opportunity to invest in German wind energy projects.
IWE has been able to contract SSB Service GmbH for the maintenance of a
total of 54 WTGs in Saxony-Anhalt. These turbines, each with a rated
output of 1.5MW, are located on four wind farms. According to the
agreement with IWE, SSB Service GmbH has been responsible for
maintaining 21 wind turbine generators (WTGs) in Saxony-Anhalt since
June 2009. At the beginning of 2010, the German company took over the
servicing of a further 33 WTGs.
