GE to supply turbines for Omega Energia’s wind farm in Brazil

GE has secured a contract from Omega Energia to deliver 32 of its new 2.2-107 turbines to a wind farm in the Piaui region of Brazil.

 

The agreement is the first order for GE's 2.2-107 wind turbine, which was selected by Omega Energia in the A-5 Brazil energy auction in December 2013. Under the deal, GE will also provide the operations and maintenance services on the turbines for 10 years.
