GE Vernova has signed an agreement with Taiwan Power Company to supply 25 onshore wind repower kits. The project will upgrade 25 GE Vernova 1.5 MW turbines with 70.5-metre rotors and includes a five-year operations and maintenance services package.
Initial components are expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2025, with retrofit installations scheduled throughout 2026 and 2027. The is the first repowering contract for GE Vernova outside the USA.
