The Gansu Baofeng Polysilicon Project in China recently hoisted the first of 333 Goldwind GWH 191–5.27 MW wind turbines.
The project involves the integration of source, grid, load, and storage capabilities and will generate 1.75 GW of clean energy. This will then be used to power local polysilicon production, which will provide "green" raw materials for the production of renewable PV modules.
