Hansen Protection has signed a multi-year agreement to supply life-protection equipment to Lufttransport, a Norwegian offshore helicopter operator. The three-year contract, with an option to extend, covers personal protective equipment including immersion suits, lifejackets, and rescue swimmer gear.
All servicing and maintenance will be carried out in Norway. The agreement uses a hybrid model, combining the sale of crew suits and rescue swimmer equipment with the rental of HALO lifejacket systems.
Lufttransport’s operations are expanding, supported by activity in both oil and gas and the growing offshore wind sector.
