The charter between MHI Vestas and United Wind Logistics (UWL) includes a full package of engineering services. The specialised vessel Vestvind is now transporting turbine components to Belfast for the Walney Extension wind park off the UK west coast.
The full package provided by UWL goes well beyond the vessel Vestvind used by MHI Vestas. The logistics company specialises in engineering services such as design and procurement of grillage and sea fastening solutions as well as outfitting and operational services such as crewing and bunkering for Vestvind.
