Mingyang Wind Power has signed a strategic agreement with China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Co., Ltd (CGNPC). Under the Agreement, Mingyang and CGNPC will join forces to develop wind power projects.
They will be working closely on the Golden Bay offshore wind power project in Jieyang, Guangdong province with the objective to become a model for similar projects in China. Further they will be promoting the developments of onshore and offshore wind power projects in the Fujian province and promoting overseas market opportunities. They also plan to establish a renewable energy fund and to improve utilisation of wind and solar power through research and development.
