Rosslare ORE hubNash Maritime has been appointed to conduct the navigation risk assessment for the proposed development, aiming to transform Rosslare Europort into the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) hub for Ireland’s South East.

The development encompasses a purpose-built ORE quay and berth, capital dredging to enhance the navigation channel's depth, quayside storage, and a management control centre. Nash Maritime joins the Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) team led by Nicholas O’Dwyer and Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions, who were engaged by Iarnród Éireann, the owner and operator of Rosslare Europort, in August 2023. In addition to conducting the navigation risk assessment and preparing the Technical Navigation Risk Assessment (NAR) for inclusion as an appendix to the EIAR, Nash Maritime will be responsible for drafting the EIAR Shipping and Navigation Chapter. The submission of the EIAR and Planning Application is anticipated in Autumn 2024.
