Natural Power has secured contracts to provide ground investigation services for Vattenfall's proposed Ourack and Quantans Hill wind projects in Scotland. The contracts cover the proposed 100 MW Ourack Wind Farm and the 90 MW Quantans Hill Wind Farm. The ground investigation programme will support the design and development of both projects.
The scope of work includes rotary core borehole drilling, sampling and geological logging, trial excavations and on-site geotechnical testing, peatland surveys, electrical resistivity and seismic refraction geophysical surveys, and aerial topographical surveys using semi-autonomous drone technology.
